Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This is an earlier version. Read the current version
Effective date: 2026-10-04
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how AVERENTIUM LLC ("Averentium", "we" or "us") handles consumer health data in connection with Help, the Help app and averentium.com. It is published for anyone to read, including consumers in Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, whose laws treat consumer health data specially. It adds to our Privacy Policy at https://averentium.com/legal/privacy, and it is changed in the way section 19 of that policy describes.
1.What this policy covers
Consumer health data is personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a person and that identifies their past, present or future physical or mental health. This policy covers any such information that reaches Averentium through Help.
2.Consumer health data that may arise
Help does not ask for health information, and you do not need to give any to use Help. Consumer health data can arise only when a user chooses to include it: for example, a description of a disability, injury, illness or accommodation need in a job post, a message, a report, a response to a report or a support request.
3.How we use it
We use consumer health data only to provide the job, report, dispute or support you asked for: to show it to the other person on that job, to keep the record of the job, and to review a report or dispute about it. We never use it to decide who may use Help, what a job costs, or which jobs or people are shown to anyone.
4.Where it comes from and who receives it
It comes from you, or from the other person on a job when they include it. It is shared with the other party to that job and with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy that operate Help for us. If it is in a report or a dispute, it is shared with Stripe, insurers, courts and arbitrators only with the consent of the person it is about, or where the law allows it without consent, such as to respond to fraud, harassment or illegal activity or to answer legal process. Otherwise it is shared only as the law requires or allows, as section 9 of our Privacy Policy describes.
5.We do not sell it
We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not use or share it for advertising.
6.Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; to see it, with a list of every third party and affiliate we have shared it with and an email address or online form for contacting each of them; to delete it; and to withdraw a consent you gave. Email contactus@averentium.com. We verify the request through your Help account where you have one, and respond within 45 days, which we may extend once by 45 more days when reasonably necessary, telling you why. When we delete consumer health data we delete it from all of our systems, including archives and backups no later than six months after we verify the request, and we tell each processor and third party we shared it with to delete it too. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We tell you in writing what we did and why within 45 days after we receive the appeal, and, if we deny it, how to complain to the Attorney General of Washington or of your state.
7.Other commitments
We do not set up a geofence around any place that provides health care. Only administrators who need it to provide Help can see consumer health data.
